Park playdate

I joined a nanny group since i'll be a nanny starting in Sept and it will give Camryn and Jordyn more opportunities to meet other kids. Today we went to Idlywood park in Redmond. When we got there it wasn't very sunny but the sun did come out later on. It was our first time at that park and so far it's one of my favorites. There is lots for the kids to do. I am always happy when they have swings. Right now that is all Jordyn can do. Cori came with the triplets, Erin came with her 2 kids she's watching this summer and Jaime came with her 2 kids. It was a blast.

Camryn on her bike

I am so glad it's summer and it stays light later. That means that when Jordyn is down for the night, I can take Camryn out so she can ride her bike. She was struggling with pedaling uphill but slowly getting better. We don't have a lot of cars in our area so it's a great place for her to ride. Camryn loved me taking pics of her and at the end she asked to take a pic of me. lol

Playdate

Camryn is friends with 3 yr old triplets, Jack, Gabbi and Nate. They live in Duvall and every once in a while we go over there for a playdate. My friend Cori nannies for them and now and then I babysit them. Sometimes it can get a little crazy but it's good money. :) Today we went over there after Jordyn's morning nap. It was sunny so we were able to play outside until lunchtime. The triplets eat pretty well, more than any toddler i've ever seen, so I like it when Camryn eats with them. She usually eats more than she does at home.

We left at 1 because the triplets go down for a nap. On the drive home all Camryn could talk about was going swimming. She loves the water. It was almost time for Jordyn's afternoon nap so she called Grandma and asked if she could take her swimming. The first thing Camryn did when we got home was put on her swimsuit. She waited in her swimsuit and her hippo floaty for about an hour and then Grandma came.

Tomorrow they are off to daddy's house. Time for mommy to have a little break and do some cleaning. Maybe also go swimming alone. :)

Lunchtime!

A few weeks ago I gave Jordyn the spoon during lunchtime and now she insists on feeding herself. She does pretty good. I was worried that she would make a big mess but so far she hasn't. It is usually yogurt or tuna that she eats with a spoon. It is pretty cute watching her.

Pool!!!

This summer I have a feeling the girls and I will be spending a lot of time in the pool. Our complex has 3 pools. 2 outdoor and 1 indoor. The indoor pool isn't heated so it's always cold. I've only used it once. One of the outdoor pools is very close to our apt and the other one is by the leasing center. That one also has a kiddie pool so we always go there. The kiddie pool is only 1 foot deep so Camryn can swim around without any help. She has a new inflatable hippo she loves to swim with. Jordyn either sits on my lap and kicks her feet or walks along the side. The hardest part is getting Camryn out of the pool.

Camryn's 1st Mariner game

My mom had tickets to the Mariners game on Friday night and since I didn't have anyone to babysit, she decided to take Camryn. I wasn't sure how Camryn would be since it can be hard for a 3 yr old to sit still for very long. But it sounds like it went great. They took the bus there, which was Camryn's first time riding the bus. She was very excited. Safeco field has a playground so they spent most of the time there. Camryn got to experience ballpark food, which i happen to love. I am all about pigging out at the game. :) She ate chicken fingers and french fries and my mom brought a ziplock bag of red licorice. In the 3rd inning they made their way to their seats. Camryn wanted to sit in seat 3 since she is 3 yrs old but that was someone else's seat. My mom let her sit there though until they showed up.

They didn't stay the whole game. They left about 9:30 and arrived home at 11. Camryn slept over at my mom's in her own room. My mom and dad recently cleaned out a small room next to their room for company they will have in July and it is also Camryn's room for when she sleeps over. She slept great alone in her room and when she woke up, she had a big tub in red licorice next to her bed. lol She said her lamb beanie baby ate some. What a stinker!

Jordyn's first haircut

Jordyn's bangs have been in her eyes for a while. I sometimes put them back in a clip but i figured it is time for a trim. Camryn went with my mom to the Mariners game last night so she slept over at my mom's. Jordyn and I went to Les Schwab to get my tire fixed. It had a slow leak so luckily they were able to patch it for free. While we waited, we walked across the street to the deli for lunch and next door is a hair/nail salon. Perfect! Jordyn sat in my lap and the nice lady trimmed her bangs. She sat still and smiled the whole time. She was great! Jordyn and I had some great mommy/daughter time. :)
