Jordyn's crib is all set

Now that Camryn is out of the crib, I put together Jordyn's crib. I'm very happy with the bedding I bought. On another note, I decided to repaint the letters. The pink was too dark. I will post pictures when they are done. It will take me a few days.

Camryn's bed arrived

Camryn's new toddler bed arrived today. It's a bit smaller than I expected, but it seems like a good size for her. She was so excited to lay in it. Levi wasn't finished putting it together and she already was trying to put her pillow down on it. As soon as he finished, she just right on. The bedding for it hasn't arrived yet so right now we have temporary bedding on it. Let's hope she does well with the transition.

The first thing to arrive

I got an e-mail saying that one of my items has arrived. Yay! It is 3 wall hangings. I didn't wait long before I went to go pick them up. I think they look really good on the wall. Levi doesn't understand why I bought them. But that's a guy for you. lol I also had bought a photo board that has baby footprints on it.

Waiting Waiting Waiting

The hard part of decorating the girls' room is waiting for everything to arrive. I'm not very patient. I checked the status of everything and it says the bed, bedding, and 2 accessories have been shipped. They should arrive between Feb 13-20. 2 other accessories are still processing but still might arrive that week. I ordered one thing from Target. A hand and foot print frame for Jordyn. I ordered it a few days ago and it says it should arrive between March 5th- 23rd. What???? A frame is going to take over a month to get here. That seems very weird to me. Luckily, I don't need it until after she arrives which could be April, but still. Odd.

Decorating the girls' room

First of all that sounds weird. The girls' room. Yikes, soon there will be 2 girls in my house. The process just started but I am having so much fun. Right now Camryn's room is not very girly. Levi and I went shopping for all her stuff before we found out we were having a girl. So instead of pink, the room is mostly green with a little pink, yellow and blue thrown in. When I found out we are having another girl I got so excited. I decided I wanted to completely redecorate their room and make it pretty and girly.

My first mission was to find bedding for both girls and then get a color scheme. After looking for a while, I found a cute bedding that came in both toddler bedding and crib bedding. It was pink and brown with flowers. PERFECT! I had to wait to get our tax return to be able to buy everything I needed. Luckily, Levi got his W2 pretty early and it didn't take long to get our return. I wanted to make sure the room was ready atleast a few weeks before my due date.

Last Saturday, Camryn and I went down to Kirkland. Met up with my mom and sister Kim and we went shopping. I wanted to buy as much as I could for their room. I came to find out that Target wasn't carrying the bedding I picked out anymore. BUMMER! I had to find all new bedding. After our visit to Target we stopped by my grandma and grandpa's house. We haven't seen them since x-mas. While we were there I looked on their computer for new bedding. Luckily, I was able to find bedding I liked at Walmart and it was so much cheaper than the previous bedding. SWEET!

After we left the grandparent's, we went to Walmart. I was able to find the crib bedding and the mattress for Camryn's bed at the store. Everything else I had to order online. So right now I am waiting to hear from Walmart saying that the toddler bedding, toddler bed, and some accessories has arrived. So while I wait I have kept myself busy with other stuff I can do. I went to our local craft store and bought some wood letters that spell out Jordyn. I am going to hang them on the wall above her crib. I painted them pink and brown. I also painted Camryn's letters. Her letters were light pink, yellow and green. I also painted shelves that are in the corner of their room. They were green, yellow and blue.

Stay tuned as I slowly decorate their room. I will keep you updated step by step and then I will reveal the finished room. :)

"I see."

Camryn doesn't like being left out of anything. Whenever she sees me chewing and doesn't know what it is she comes over to me and says "I see." Then she opens my mouth and looks inside. Most of the time I am eating something I don't want her to have so I hurry up and swallow. Like if I'm getting my daily chocolate fix. Little stinker. :)

Big Girl!

Today I painted my fingernails and Camryn said she wanted her nails painted too. I was a little nervous about doing it, not sure if she would just pick it off with her teeth. She wanted each finger a different color. She was very still and patient while I painted them and then she started playing with her toys. She is becoming such a big girl.
