Decorating cookies

I asked Cori if she and Maddie wanted to come over to decorate cookies. That is something I have been wanting to do with Camryn for a long time. So today Cori, Maddie, Alex(Cori's sister) came over. We had sugar cookie dough, red & white frosting, sprinkles, chocolate chips, m&ms, and Nemo fruit snacks. We didn't have any cookie cutters so we just used cups to form the cookies. The girls had a blast decorating them. I think they did a great job. While we waited for the cookies to bake, we had lunch. Yummy sandwiches. Then after we were all done we watched a little Game Show Network.

Wild Waves

We all went to Wild Waves on the 4th of July. It was crowded and hot but it was an awesome day. Camryn had so much fun riding the rides. She went on the carousel, a parachute ride, the train, a boat ride and a big slide. The big slide she didn't like. She was crying the whole way down. :( We decided to go on the rides first since everyone else would go straight to the water park. We were right. There was barely anyone at the rides. We usually didn't have to wait in line and if we did it wasn't a long wait. Pedro and I wanted to go on some scarier rides. We rode a big rollercoaster and a ride called the Tomahawk. One that ride you go upside down over and over again.

After lunch we went to the water park. Camryn couldn't wait to get in her bathing suit and go in the water. My mom took her to the kiddie pool that had little slides, Kim and Pedro went to the Wave pool and Erin and I stayed with Jordyn. Then we took turns staying with Jordyn. Erin and I went on the Raging water ride where you sit in an intertube and go down hills. There were so many times where we got stuck and couldn't get down the hill. Poor Erin. On the last time, we were stuck for like 10 mins so she got out of the innertube to push us towards the hill and she couldn't get back in before me and the innertube went down the hill.

New tv

Yay! Our new tv has arrived. It looks soooo good. Our old tv was very old and it started acting up. It would go to a half screen. Top half was black and the bottom was normal. Not good. Our new tv is a 32 inch LCD flat screen. It's beautiful!!

Sprinkler time

It has been pretty warm these days so I pulled out the sprinkler the other day. Camryn just got a new suimsuit and was so excited to play in it. I am hoping to get a pool soon. Our pool from last year isn't good anymore. Luckily if we can't, Camryn's friend Liam has one so we can always go over there. I have a feeling we'll be getting a lot of use out of the sprinkler this summer.

Jungle Playland

The girls and I went up to Jungle Playland with our friends Christina and Liam last Wed. It was a lot of fun. It wasn't too busy which is always good. Camryn's favorite part is the ball pit. She spent most of the time in there. She is still a little too small for the big slides so she always goes on the smaller slides. I want to take her there as much as i can this summer because once she turns 3 in Sept the price goes up. :(

Camryn got her own camera for xmas from my mom but she still can't use it. Not as kid friendly as we hoped. When my mom comes to visit she lets Camryn use her small camera. All she has to do is aim and press a button so she loves taking pictures. Some turn out good and some are so hilarious. Here are a few of my favorites.

M's game

I went the the Mariner's game last night. It was sooo much fun. I met my friend Alissa and her friend Jaymi at her house at 4. We drove down to Seattle and found a parking spot pretty quickly. We went down there early because we wanted to get dinner first. We decided to go to Red Robin for dinner. That is one of my favorite restaurants and it has been a long time since i've been there so I was excited. Our food was super good. I tried a new appetizer that I really liked. It was cheeseburger queso. Yum! We still had some time to spare so we looked inside a couple stores then headed to the game. It was a nice walk to the stadium. Not too long and too short. Our seats at the game were on the 3rd tier behind homeplate. It was a beautiful day. Perfect for a baseball game. The game was fun. We took some pictures of ourselves. We were ahead 1-0 until the 8th inning. Then it got bad. In the 8th inning they scored 5 runs. NOOOOO!!!! We decided to leave after the bottom of the 8th because we were losing and we wanted to beat the traffic. Plus i was tired. I got home past my normal bedtime.
