New tv

Yay! Our new tv has arrived. It looks soooo good. Our old tv was very old and it started acting up. It would go to a half screen. Top half was black and the bottom was normal. Not good. Our new tv is a 32 inch LCD flat screen. It's beautiful!!

Sprinkler time

It has been pretty warm these days so I pulled out the sprinkler the other day. Camryn just got a new suimsuit and was so excited to play in it. I am hoping to get a pool soon. Our pool from last year isn't good anymore. Luckily if we can't, Camryn's friend Liam has one so we can always go over there. I have a feeling we'll be getting a lot of use out of the sprinkler this summer.

Jungle Playland

The girls and I went up to Jungle Playland with our friends Christina and Liam last Wed. It was a lot of fun. It wasn't too busy which is always good. Camryn's favorite part is the ball pit. She spent most of the time in there. She is still a little too small for the big slides so she always goes on the smaller slides. I want to take her there as much as i can this summer because once she turns 3 in Sept the price goes up. :(

Camryn got her own camera for xmas from my mom but she still can't use it. Not as kid friendly as we hoped. When my mom comes to visit she lets Camryn use her small camera. All she has to do is aim and press a button so she loves taking pictures. Some turn out good and some are so hilarious. Here are a few of my favorites.

M's game

I went the the Mariner's game last night. It was sooo much fun. I met my friend Alissa and her friend Jaymi at her house at 4. We drove down to Seattle and found a parking spot pretty quickly. We went down there early because we wanted to get dinner first. We decided to go to Red Robin for dinner. That is one of my favorite restaurants and it has been a long time since i've been there so I was excited. Our food was super good. I tried a new appetizer that I really liked. It was cheeseburger queso. Yum! We still had some time to spare so we looked inside a couple stores then headed to the game. It was a nice walk to the stadium. Not too long and too short. Our seats at the game were on the 3rd tier behind homeplate. It was a beautiful day. Perfect for a baseball game. The game was fun. We took some pictures of ourselves. We were ahead 1-0 until the 8th inning. Then it got bad. In the 8th inning they scored 5 runs. NOOOOO!!!! We decided to leave after the bottom of the 8th because we were losing and we wanted to beat the traffic. Plus i was tired. I got home past my normal bedtime.

Fun upcoming weekend

I am really looking forward to this weekend. The next couple days are same old stuff. But on Friday I am going to get my yearly pedicure. lol I'm not joking. It has almost been one year since I got my last pedicure. I got a gift certificate for Mother's Day so Erin and I will be going on Friday afternoon. On Saturday afternoon I am meeting with my friend Alissa and her friend Jayme and we are going to the Mariners game. I'm not exactly a baseball fan, but I went to a game last season with Cori and it was soooo much fun. FYI Cori: I am not doing the wave this time either. lol That part is not my thing. My mom, Kim and Pedro are going to the game on Friday night. Let's hope they win both nights. :)

New stuff

I found this picture that I took of Camryn on the couch. Do you think Camryn is a little sticker crazy?? lol Camryn LOVES stickers. Doesn't matter what kind of sticker it is. I used to get her sticker books but she would go through them in about a day or so, now I get her cheap stickers at the store and she puts them in her coloring books.


On another note, I am so tired of how messy Camryn books are. They are just thrown on the shelf and it looks terrible. Today I decided to organize them and I told Camryn that if she wants to look at a book she needs to ask me to get it for her. Let's see how long it stays clean. I'll keep you informed.

Jordyn's first real bath

I gave Jordyn her first real bath tonight. Before she has only had sponge baths. Camryn was very excited to help me. She did a great job! Jordyn was upset at first. But soon after I put her in the water she stopped crying. :) She just seemed to be enjoying the nice warm water.

One month old!!

Jordyn is one month old today. It is so exciting watching her grow. She still seems like a tiny thing but she is getting better at holding her head up and she has given us little smirks. I took the girls to get their picture taken last Thursday. Let's just say it didn't go as well as I expected. On Wed I got a coupon in the mail from The Picture People for a free 8x10. I thought that was a great opportunity to get a picture of the girls. I was worried Jordyn would have her eyes closed the whole time but I wanted a picture of her before her baby acne got worse. Luckily, she had her eyes open but Camryn was horrile. All she could talk about was getting her picture taken but when we got there she refuse to go near the camera. She had several crying fits and it took us about 40 mins before she calmed down and would give us a smile. We got one smile out of her. I was frustrated but atleast I got 2 good pictures. One of Camryn and Jordyn and one of just Jordyn. It will probably be quite a while before I try that again.
