I was looking through some old pics of me and decided to post them. Looking at these help me remember good times and gives me motivation to stick to my diet.
This is Dec 2005 at the WorldMark Christmas party.
This is Jan 2006 in Seattle with some friends.
This is Jan 2007 at a Christmas party at a friend's house.
Today I had my 3rd dentist appt and I have one more to go. They have taken more than 4 and a half hrs of my time and more than $550 of my money. My next appt will be quick and easy so that really makes me happy. I am ready to be done with this.
Speaking of being done......a week from today is my divorce hearing. I am looking forward to it because I want to get it over with. I have the parenting plan done so I guess I am ready. I just get so nervous being in the courthouse. I really hope the judge doesn't have too many questions. I want to be in and out.
5 months until our trip to Disneyland. :) I am super excited. We booked our flights and our hotel rooms. My family and the girls and I are going to Disneyland Aug 11th-16th. It will be Jordyn and Emilia's first plane ride and my families first trip together in 10 yrs. The only person not coming is my brother Kevin. He will busy working i guess. But my dad will be coming and that is awesome. He deserves a nice vacation. While we're down there, we're also visiting my Great Grandma and my Great Aunt. They live near Long Beach.
Other than that, I am so excited for Jordyn's 1st birthday. It is coming so fast. I got Jordyn and Camryn new party dresses. Jordyn doesn't know what is going on but Camryn sure does. She says we need CAKE, PRESENTS, BALLOONS and PARTY HATS. Those are the important things. I don't think we'll have party hats, but we'll have everything else.
One thing Maddie likes to say several times a day is "My mommy doesn't do that!" Lol Today we took Maddie to school and then took Jordyn to Levi. He has Camryn and Jordyn until Sunday morning. Emma and I came back to the house and played for a little while, then we went to pick Maddie up from school. After Emma's nap we headed out to the mall. Maddie has been asking me for a few days to go to the mall so she can play on the toys. She immediately found a little girl to play with. They played for a while and Emma crawled around checking things out. Luckily it wasn't very crowded so i wasn't worried about her getting hurt.
After about an hour, we took off to Old Navy to find me a new skirt. I found one i like. It is black(of course) and kind of flowy. It falls right below my knees. I would prefer a little shorter but the only other one was a little too short. I think it will look great with some cute new shirts i bought a few weeks ago.
Now we are back at the condo and it's time to get the girls ready for bed. :)
Camryn has had a fever all weekend. She has been very lathargic and hasn't eaten in 3 days. I left Monroe on Saturday night so get a small break from my babysitting job. Erin told me on Sunday that Camryn was crying and asking for me so I went to pick her up. I checked her temp every half an hour to make sure it didn't get too high. It kept going back and forth from 101.7 to 98.3. Around 8:30pm I got a text from Erin saysing that Jordyn's temp is 102.6.
I freaked out and drove to Monroe to get her and take both kids to the ER. I asked my mom to stay with Camryn while i went to get Jordyn since Camryn was sleeping. Then all 4 of us headed to the ER. They took the kids temps right when we got there and they were still high. We went into a little room and they brought the kids some Tylenol to bring down their temps. About 15 mins later in walks in the dr and guess who it is. Terry Mengert. He is an old family friend who used to live across the street. That was pretty funny. He checked over the kids and they both still have ear infections. I already have an antibiotic for Camryn and he gave me a new one for Jordyn. I really hope they get better soon. So far today i have noticed a slight improvement in Camryn. She hasn't eaten yet but she has been talking. That is more than she did yesterday.
Levi isn't working all week so he is taking Camryn. That will be good because he can give her more attention than i can since i still have 3 other kids to take care of.
I have been babysitting in Monroe for 8 days and i have hit the wall. I am exhausted. I still have another 8 days left. Erin doesn't have any plans this weekend so she was nice enough to offer to come here and take over on Sat night and Sunday. I am so happy. I need a little break to last another week.
Feb 26th: Maddie, Emma and I went to the triplets house again today. It started off great but then right before lunch it started to go downhill. Maddie was very good today. She was being very helpful. Gabbi however was a terror. She used to be the easy one but now she has become so stubborn and difficult. It really wears me out. They have big kid beds now and it is impossible to get them to nap.(except for Cori i guess. lol) At 4 we had to go pick up Jordyn and Camryn from Levi. We got home and immediately had dinner and got the babies to bed. I can not wait to go to bed. It will be an early bedtime for me.
So last night before i went to bed one of the cats threw up in the hallway. I woke up this morning to find more throw up. I don't understand why. They have now thrown up 3 times since i've been here. It's not like i have nothing else to do then clean up lots of throw up.
Feb 25th: It was so nice to sleep in a little this morning. Any extra mins help a lot. We had a quick breakfast and Emma and I dropped Maddie off at preschool. Emma and I then headed to the store to pick up some more ketchup(for Maddie), some OJ and a few other things. Then we came back to the condo to hang out until it was time to pick Maddie up from school. After we got back from picking up Maddie we had lunch and then it was naptime for Emma. :) After naptime we drove to Woodinville to drop off Camryn's preschool registration forms. So far she is the only one signed up for the afternoon class so she might end up in the morning class. I'll find out in August. Either way is fine with me but there is usually a smaller class size in the afternoon. When we got back it was time for dinner. Now Emma is down for the night and Maddie is getting ready for bed.
Maddie wasn't great today. She seems to have a problem listening to me. I have to repeat myself over and over. I am hoping it doesn't continue.
I am 30 years old. I am living in Bothell with my 2 daughters. Camryn is 4 and Jordyn is 2. I love being a stay at home mom and spending all day with them. I am also a nanny to my adorable niece Emilia. Love seeing her almost every day. I am single and enjoying every minute.
